Where there is darkness, there must also be light. The prophecy of the Burning Words has come true: Moto will fight Moto, until only one true line remains. The Unicorn gather in the Twilight Mountains, readying their katanas for the last desperate struggle. On one side, the last despearate struggle. On one side, the undead gather under Kamoko's banner. To the south, an army marches upon Volturnum, a dark city ruined by time and defiled by the Shadow. If the army succeeds, it will seal the gate to Jigoku, the land of the dead, and save the Empire. But if it fails, the Darkness that lies at the heart of the Empire will lay waste to its land, ravaging everything beneath a bloody sky.
The Sun and the Moon are reborn. The Tenth Kami has risen for Jigoku's gate. The Emperor is dead.
